Democrats Greg Sagan and Gus Trujillo will be debating one another face-to-face in a special debate to be presented by KFDX-TV in Wichita Falls.

The debate will feature the two Democrats who are hoping to replace U.S. Rep. Mac Thornberry (R-Clarendon) next year. The two candidates advanced to a runoff following the March 3 primary, with Timothy Gassaway missing out on securing his spot in the runoff.

Sagan, a retired consultant, and Trujillo, a former office manager and congressional intern, are vying for the Democratic spot on the November ballot. The winner will face either Republican Ronny Jackson or Josh Winegarner and Libertarian Jack B. Westbrook in that race.
