Amarillo College officials have narrowed down the search to replace former President Russell Lowery-Hart to two choices.
This week, the AC Board of Regents named Dr. Andrew Bowne and Dr. Laura Boyer as the two finalists to replace Lowery-Hart. The candidate who is selected as the sole finalist will likely replace Lowery-Hart later this year.
Bowne previously served as the President and CEO of Johnson County Community College in Kansas. Meanwhile, Boyer is currently the vice president for academic success at Northeast Lakeview College in San Antonio.
