A Charlie Brown Christmas decoration is causing controversy at a Killeen school.
The decoration, showing a character from “A Charlie Brown Christmas,” was taken down, following complaints from parents at the school. The decoration, which showed a Biblical reference, was taken down, due to school policy regarding imposing personal beliefs on students, according to ABC News.
Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton attacked the school’s removal of the decoration, saying that schools are not allowed to “silence a biblical reference to Christmas,” because of the passage of the “Merry Christmas Law.”
