Rex Tillerson, CEO of the Irving-based Exxon, is reportedly under consideration to serve in President-elect Donald Trump's administration.
Tillerson, who assumed the role of Exxon CEO in 2006, is reportedly under consideration for the role of United States Secretary of State. Tillerson, the CEO, joins Governor Mitt Romney, former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani, and retired general David Petraeus as potential picks for the role.
Trump is expected to announce the nominee for the role, in the coming weeks.
