Five-time MLB All Star Josh Hamilton will be returning to the Texas Rangers, this year.
The deal, which was announced yesterday, signs Hamilton to a minor league contract with an invitation to spring training, according to ESPN. Hamilton was released by the Los Angeles Angels, in August, ending his $125 million deal.
The 35-year-old Hamilton has played for the Texas Rangers before, including for two trips to the MLB World Series in 2010 and 2011.
Hamilton was also the American League MVP in 2010.
