WTAMU Adds Merrill for 2017 Season

West Texas A&M University announced today the addition of senior Kami Merrill for the 2017 softball season.

WTAMU's head softball coach, Kevin Blaskowski, announced the addition of Merrill today in a press release, saying, "We are very fortunate to add a pitcher with Kami's skill and experience at the break. Her postseason experience will be a key addition to our staff, we will expect her to be a strong contributor in the circle this spring."

Merrill has previously played for the University of Nebraska-Kearney, and the College of Southern Idaho. The Alberta native went 8-8 at Nebraska-Kearney and 25-10 at Southern Idaho.

Merrill is also a strong student. Merrill currently holds an Associate's Degree in Liberal Arts from the College of Southern Idaho, where she carried a GPA of 3.90.
