Potter County Courthouse Floods

The Potter County Courthouse has been closed, due to flooding.

The flooding was discovered this morning, and has temporarily halted functions at the courthouse. Officials says that certain judges will be relocated, and the Potter County Commissioner's Court meeting scheduled for today will be rescheduled.

The courthouse, which was built in 1932, was restored for a total of about $18 million by the County. About $5 million of the project was funded by the Texas Historical Commission, which funded the project as a restoration.
