Amarillo College Police Report Two Crimes on Campus in 2016

The Amarillo College Police Department has released its 2017 security report to students and faculty.

In the new report released by the College Police Department, officials from Amarillo College detailed all reported crimes on Amarillo College's campuses over the past year and the information on reporting such crimes. Information is included for college administration and security.

In statistics released today, the College's Police Department reported one robbery and one vehicle theft on the College's flagship Washington Street Campus in 2016. The robbery took place on public property and the vehicle theft occurred on campus.

The Washington Street Campus of Amarillo College was the only local campus to report crimes in 2016. Over the past three years, one incident of stalking and one incident of domestic violence were reported on Amarillo College's other Amarillo campuses.

No crimes have been reported at the school's Moore County, Downtown, Medi Park or Hinkson campuses. In addition, no hate crimes, homicides, sex offenses, weapons violations or drug or liquor violations have been reported at any of the Amarillo College campuses during the past three years.
