Billups Reports Over 8,000 Meals Served By Brown Bag Runs in September

One local community organization served over eight thousand meals to the needy in Amarillo during September.

According to information released this weekend, Amarillo Brown Bag Runs, a local organization that aims to feed the hungry in Amarillo, served 8,290 meals during the month of September. Kip Billups, Brown Bag Runs' founder, announced the number last night in a post to Facebook.

Amarillo Brown Bag Runs is a community-driven organization that has the goal of feeding the homeless in Amarillo. The organization is driven by a group of volunteers, contributors and workers.
