Amarillo ISD board member F. Scott Flow will be speaking on the Amarillo Independent School District bond election, this Thursday.
Flow, the vice chairman of the AISD board of trustees, will be the key speaker for an event held by the Amarillo League of Women Voters. Flow will address the bond election and how the money will be used for AISD campuses if the package is approved.
Dr. Reed Welch, a professor from West Texas A&M University, will also speak at the forum on the seven proposed amendments to the Texas Constitution. Welch will give arguments for and against each amendment's passage.
The event will be held Thursday, October 19th at the Southwest Branch Amarillo Public Library (6801 SW 45th). Refreshments will take place at 6pm and the forum will begin at 7pm.
All area residents are invited and there is no cost to attend.
