Randall Sheriff Talks Halloween Tips

The Randall County Sheriff's Office has released a list of Halloween tips, ahead of tonight's Halloween festivities.

On Tuesday morning, the Randall County Sheriff released several tips on how to remain safe during the Halloween holiday. Trick-or-treaters are advised to use some type of product to become more visible to drivers. Flashlights, glow sticks and reflective tape are all recommended to parents as ways to make children more visible to traffic.

In addition, the Sheriff's Office is advising parents to make sure children are watching for vehicles and trick-or-treating with responsible adults during Halloween. For children who will not be trick-or-treating with adults, the Sheriff's Office says the best plan is to trick-or-treat in heavily populated neighborhoods and to set a specific time to be home.
