Several Dairy Queen locations in the Texas Panhandle are closing.
According to court documents, Vasari LLC, a company owning several regional Dairy Queen locations, plans to close 29 stores in the tri-state area. Stores that could be seeing closings in the Panhandle area include locations in Clarendon, Claude, Perryton, Shamrock, Wellington, Dalhart, Dumas, Gruver and Stratford.
Several other locations in Texas, Oklahoma and New Mexico are also expected to close, as part of the company's restructuring from Chapter 11 bankruptcy.
