West Texas A&M University's basketball teams stomped the Eastern New Mexico University Greyhounds over the weekend.
In away appearances in Portales, WTAMU rolled over the Greyhounds in both appearances on the court. First, in a game pitting the Greyhounds against the Buffs, WTAMU blew past Eastern New Mexico, led by senior Jordan Evans. The Buffs broke an early lead set by the Greyhounds to race to a solid lead. In the end, the Buffs took home the win, beating the Eastern New Mexico Greyhounds, 99-69.
In the second game of the day, the Lady Buffs also played a strong competitor to the Greyhounds. Led by senior Madison Parker, the Lady Buffs established a dominant patterns with a strong defense to shut the door on Eastern New Mexico. The Lady Buffs came home with the win, 61-44.
The Buffs now move to an 8-0 record with the Lady Buffs also undefeated at 7-0.
