New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady's jersey from last night's Super Bowl LI has been stolen, according to NFL.com.
After hearing of the news of Brady's jersey being stolen, Lt. Governor Dan Patrick is asking the Texas Rangers to help recover the jersey.
"In Texas we place a very high value on hospitality and football. Tom Brady’s jersey has great historical value and is already being called ‘the most valuable NFL collectable ever.’ It will likely go into the Hall of Fame one day." Patrick said, "It is important that history does not record that it was stolen in Texas. I’ve called Colonel Steve McCraw to ask that the Texas Rangers work with the Houston Police Department on this case."
The Houston Police also announced that they are assisting in the search for Brady's missing jersey.
As of Monday afternoon, there is no new information regarding the location of Brady's jersey.
