Cowboys Staple Ware to Retire

Longtime Dallas Cowboys' player DeMarcus Ware has announced his retirement from the NFL.

Ware played for the Dallas Cowboys franchise from 2005-2013. During his time with the Dallas Cowboys, Ware played in 7 Pro Bowls. Ware was also the NFL sacks leader for two seasons with the Dallas Cowboys.

Ware moved to the Denver Broncos in 2014, where he was later part of the Broncos squad that won Super Bowl 50, in 2016.

Ware issued a statement on Twitter today, announcing his retirement, with the caption "It's time ...." Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones reacted to Ware's retirement by saying, "DeMarcus was everything we could have ever wanted in a player, a person and a representative of the Cowboys organization."
