The Texas Rangers have designated Shin-Soo Choo as the new Designated Hitter for Texas.
The Dallas Morning News reported today that Choo will serve as DH for the Rangers. The extent of Choo's role as DH has not yet been determined, according to the Morning News.
Choo currently holds an average of .211 in the preseason.
