Ted Cruz is backing Neil Gorsuch for the U.S. Supreme Court.
Today, during the United States Senate hearing regarding President Donald Trump's nomination of Gorsuch for SCOTUS, Cruz praised Gorsuch saying that Gorsuch's nomination carries a "super-legitimacy."
"His nomination carries with it a super-legitimacy that is also unprecedented in our nation's history." Cruz said during Gorsuch's hearing before the Senate.
Cruz previously issued a statement in support of Gorsuch after Trump's nomination in January. At that time, Cruz said, "I would hope that my Senate colleagues give him the respect he deserves this time around, as well, and support his confirmation."
