Lemonade Day Coming to Amarillo

Lemonade Day will be coming to Amarillo soon.

Lemonade Day is a nationwide movement to teach kids the power of entrepreneurship. The Lemonade Day idea was first crafted by Michael Holthouse in and is aimed to "empower today’s youth to become tomorrow’s entrepreneurs through helping them start, own and operate their very own business, a lemonade stand."

In preparation for Lemonade Day in Amarillo, two workshops will be held. The first workshop, to be held on Saturday, will be "How to Build a Lemonade Stand" and that will be discussed at the Home Depot (2410 S. Georgia at 9am and 2500 Soncy at 10am.) There will also be a "How to Participate in Lemonade Day" workshop on Saturday at the Amarillo Public Library Downtown. That workshop will begin at 3:30pm.

National Lemonade Day will be June 17th.
