City Using Madame Queen Site as Outdoor Storage

The City of Amarillo has begun using the Madame Queen site as outdoor storage.

Golf carts and small tractors belonging to the City have been parked inside of the small gated area that houses the historic Madame Queen. This storage is a recent development, beginning this week.

Details on when the tractors will be moved are unknown. The development comes following an article published yesterday, in which former Madame Queen caretaker Sam Teague described his view of the City having a lack of support for the historic train.

We will report more information when it becomes available.
