The Amarillo Venom football team is headed to the playoffs in the Lone Star Football League.
The Amarillo Venom is hoping to clinch the 2017 championship for the league by starting a playoff run on Saturday night. According to the Amarillo Venom, the team will begin its playoff run on Saturday, facing off against the Albuquerque Duke City Gladiators.
According to the Venom's Facebook page, this will not be the team's first run at the league championship. The Amarillo Venom won the championship in 2012 and in 2013.
The Amarillo Venom's game against the Duke City Gladiators will take place on Saturday, June 10th in the Amarillo Civic Center Coliseum (401 S. Buchanan). The game begins at 6pm.
Tickets range from $10.25 to $30.25 and are available through panhandletickets.com or the Amarillo Civic Center Box Office.
