Camping World has officially acquired Jack Sisemore Traveland, according to reports coming from Camping World.
According to the reports, Camping World has officially acquired the Amarillo institution as part of its latest expansion. Camping World also purchased the Gander Mountain company earlier this year and is in the process of salvaging remaining stores.
“Our two organizations have such strong synergies in terms of customer service, product offerings and geographic presence and we look forward to continuing Jack Sisemore Traveland’s high standards of quality and service, while solidifying our leading position in the state,” said Marcus Lemonis, chairman of Camping World, in a statement, “Camping World’s customers will now enjoy greater convenience throughout the state of Texas while Jack Sisemore Traveland’s customers will benefit from expanded product and service capabilities and a nationwide network of dealerships and accessory stores.”
Jack Sisemore Traveland has served the Amarillo since 1974. In addition to being one of the main recreational vehicle providers in the area, Sisemore's Traveland also hosts the "world famous" RV Museum.
