A local movie theater will be showing the highly-anticipated Canelo Alvarez vs. Gennady Golovkin fight, on September 16th.
The UA Amarillo Star Stadium theater will be showing the championship boxing match between Alvarez and Golovkin. The fight is expected to see increased interest and attendance, immediately following the pay-per-view fight between UFC champion Conor McGregor and Floyd Mayweather.
In the fight, Gennady Golovkin will be defending his unified WBA, WBC, IBF, The Ring magazine, and lineal middleweight championships against the 51-1 Alvarez. Three undercard fights will also occur at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
Tickets for the fight to be shown at the UA theater are $21.65 each.
Undercard fights begin at 7pm.
