Parker Bridwell gave a strong showing on Thursday night as he helped propel the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim to victory over the Philadelphia Phillies, 5-4.
Bridwell pitched for five innings and gave up four runs to the usually strong Philadelphia offense. Bridwell performed well, finishing with a 3.20 ERA for the game.
Bridwell, a native of Hereford, has been dominant in his first season as a member of an MLB starting rotation. Bridwell currently holds a record of 5-1 for the season.
