West Texas A&M University has been named the fifth best online college in America by Best College Reviews.
It was announced this week that WTAMU has been ranked the fifth best online college in the country by the publication. Topping West Texas A&M were New England Institute of Technology, Oregon State University, Fort Hays State University and California University of Pennsylvania.
The rankings were determined using a comparison of data from U.S. News and World Report. Eighty-five colleges were initially placed into the pool and were whittled down by the points received under the grading system.
WTAMU was one of four colleges in Texas to make the list. Other Texas colleges appearing on the list are: Sam Houston State University (11), The University of Texas at Permian Basin (22) and the University of North Texas (23).
