"Wrath of Khan" Returning to Amarillo Big Screen for Special Showings

"Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan: The Director's Cut" will be appearing in Amarillo cinemas for special showings next week.

The film is a popular spinoff from the "Star Trek: The Original Series" television show and stars William Shatner, Leonard Nimoy, George Takei and DeForest Kelly. The film revolves around "Admiral James Kirk [who] must stop an old nemesis, Khan Noonien Singh, from using the life-generating Genesis Device as the ultimate weapon."

"Wrath of Khan" was released in 1982 and is rated PG.

Showings are slated at the UA Amarillo Star theater and the Cinemark Hollywood 16 theater on September 10th and September 13th.
