In a slate of judicial nominations today, President Donald Trump nominated Matthew J. Kacsmaryk for a spot on the United States District Court for the Northern District of Texas.
Kacsmaryk is an attorney from Plano. Kacsmaryk is the deputy general counsel at the First Liberty Institute, a law firm specializing in religious freedom cases. Kacsmaryk is a graduate of Abilene Christian University and the University of Texas Law School.
If confirmed by the United States Senate, Kacsmaryk would fill the judicial vacancy left in Amarillo by Judge Mary Lou Robinson.
