Two Christian rock bands are coming to Amarillo in April.
According to information released today by PanhandleTickets.com, the official website of the Amarillo Civic Center Box Office, Skillet and For King and Country will both be stopping at the Amarillo Civic Center Coliseum on April 12th. The show is being produced by TAOL LIVESHOWEVENT Productions and is part of the joy.UNLEASHED Tour.
Skillet is a long-time fixture of American Christian rock. Formed in 1996, the group is noted for its industrial and grunge rock influences. The group has released multiple hits including "Savior," "Hero," "Monster" and "Sick of It." The group has won multiple awards and has been performed the featured song for multiple World Wrestling Entertainment pay-per-view events.
For King and Country is a Christian pop duo composed of Joel and Luke Smallbone. The group has released multiple hits including "The Proof of Your Love" and "Fix My Eyes."
Tickets for the event will go on sale Tuesday, January 23rd.
