Governor Greg Abbott has named the new chairperson of the Texas Parks and Wildlife Commission.
Abbott has announced that Fort Worth resident Ralph Duggins will become the new chairperson of the Texas Parks and Wildlife Commission. Duggins has been serving on the commission since 2008.
Duggins in a partner at the Fort Worth-Dallas law firm of Cantey Hanger LLP. Duggins also serves as a director of The Peregrine Fund and the Southwestern Exposition and Livestock Show.
According to Governor Abbott's office, the Texas Parks and Wildlife Commission "manages and conserves the natural and cultural resources of Texas and provides hunting, fishing and outdoor recreation opportunities for the use and enjoyment of present and future generations."
