The Amarillo Police Department is investigating a robbery that took place at a convinence store on Sunday.
According to authorities, officers are currently investigating a robbery that took place Sunday at the Toot N Totum at 211 S. Western. Officers say clerks said that a white male wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt, black sweat pants, a baseball cap and a cover over his face came into the store and demanded money. Police say the suspect pointed what is believed to be a knife at the victims and left with an undisclosed amount of money.
No person was injured in this incident and the suspect left the store on foot.
