Does the downtown parking garage need better marketing? That’s what one municipal board will be discussing this week.
On Wednesday, the Local Government Corporation Board of Directors will discuss marketing for the downtown parking garage. The parking garage was built as part of the “catalyst project” downtown, which includes retail space attached to the garage. However, concerns have been raised over the lack of tenants in the retails space and the lack of use of the garage.
Following discussion, board members make take action on marketing for the parking garage.
Also, on Wednesday, Board members will hear from officials with the Embassy Suites downtown hotel and the Panhandle Professional Baseball Club.
The meeting will be held on October 17th at 11:30am in Room 306 of Amarillo City Hall (509 Southeast 7th Avenue).
