Country Legend to Play Sold Out Show in Amarillo Tonight

When country legend Willie Nelson rolls into town this afternoon, he will be getting ready to perform for a sold-out room of rowdy Amarillo country music fans.

Nelson, 84, is preparing to return to the Amarillo Civic Center Auditorium tonight after a six-year hiatus. The country music legend last appeared at the Civic Center in January of 2012. He also planned a concert in Amarillo in 2014, however, that show was cancelled due to weather concerns.

Tonight the now-legendary country music figure with deep roots in Texas will perform at the Civic Center with a sold-out crowd backing him up. While tickets are not available through Panhandle Tickets, the official website of the Civic Center Box Office, some websites are reselling tickets for the show for hundreds of dollars each.

Nelson will appear at the Amarillo Civic Center at 8pm tonight.
