A group assembled by the Amarillo City Council to study beautification efforts in Amarillo will host its inaugural meeting next week.
On Monday, the Beautification and Public Arts Advisory Board will host its first meeting at Amarillo City Hall. The board was assembled by the Amarillo City Council to study and facilitate beautification efforts.
For the board's first agenda, members will consider electing officers and will discuss the roles, duties and expectations for the board. In addition, members will address the frequency of scheduling meetings and will hold a public forum.
The meeting will be held on Monday, March 12th in Room 306 of Amarillo City Hall (509 Southeast 7th Avenue). The meeting begins at 5pm.
