Zoning Board of Adjustment to Discuss Parking Exception

The Amarillo Zoning Board of Adjustment will discuss a parking space exception next month.

On Thursday, May 10th, the Zoning Board of Adjustment will meet to discuss an exception to a zoning rule regarding parking space requirements. Applicant John Finnemore Primrose Schools is asking the Zoning Board to approve an exception to the parking space requirement for a property at 4535 Van Winkle Drive. If approved, the action would reduce the number of required off-street parking spaces from 55 spaces to 44 spaces.

Zoning Board members will also elect new officers and will hold a public forum at the conclusion of the meeting.

The Zoning Board of Adjustment will meet on Thursday, May 10th in the Council Chambers of Amarillo City Hall (509 Southeast 7th Avenue). The meeting will begin at 4:30pm, following a work session at 4pm.
