Commissioners to Declare Randall County a 'Purple Heart County'

Randall County Commissioners will declare Randall County a "Purple Heart County" next month.

During a meeting on July 10th, Commissioners are expected to declare Randall County a "Purple Heart County." According to the Department of Texas Military Order of Purple Heart, the designation will mean that Randall County has a dedication to supporting wounded combat veterans and the families of veterans.

The designation will take place during the meeting at 9am. More details will be announced as the meeting approaches.
