Johnson to Perform Amarillo Benefit Show for Operation Hemingway

Dan Johnson will bring his Americana music to Amarillo next month for a benefit show.

According to information released on Monday, Dan Johnson will perform at 34th Street and Hope Road, with proceeds going to benefit Operation Hemingway. The show is being presented by the Amarillo VFW, Rick Looby Homes, Save the Vets 22 and Hope Lives Here.

Johnson is an Americana country singer. His new album and book, "Hemingway," will be on sale July 27th, will 20 percent of proceeds benefiting suicide prevention charities.

The show will be held on August 2nd, beginning at 6pm. Tickets are free with a suggested donation of at least $10.
