Parking restrictions will be set for the West Texas A&M University Homecoming parade on Monday.
On Monday, Canyon City Commissioners will vote on approving parking restrictions for the upcoming parade. A memo to Commissioners from Canyon’s city manager states West Texas A&M University requested closures on portions of 4th Avenue and Spur 48 on October 6th for the parade. If approved parking will be prohibited from the 2500 Block to the Intersection of Russell Long Blvd and Highway 217 and from the 2500 Block through the 3800 Block of State Highway 217.
Canyon City Commissioners will meet on Monday, September 24th in the Commission Chambers of Canyon City Hall (301 16th Street, Canyon). The meeting will begin at 5:30pm.
