'The Wall' Campaign Comes to Amarillo

A GoFundMe campaign seeking to raise money to build a wall along the U.S.-Mexican border has come to Amarillo.

Digital billboards in Amarillo have began popping up, showing the domain WeFundTheWall.com. Photos of the billboard have been shared on social media by billboard proprietor Randy Burkett and national media outlets. The domain takes viewers to a site linking to a petition showing support for the building of the proposed wall, along with a link to the GoFundMe site, which has raised around $19.5 million.

The GoFundMe account, which was launched by Brian Kolfage, has a total goal of $1 billion.
