Sen. John Cornyn reported a big haul as the 2020 race for his U.S. Senate seat begins to heat up.
In his new third quarter Federal Elections Commission finance report, Cornyn reported bringing in around $3.2 million for his campaign. This total brings his war chest to about $11 million, according to the Texas Tribune. The large haul gives Cornyn a financial boost as a large field of Democrats have lined up in hopes of being the nominee to face Cornyn next year. Cornyn is also facing Mark Yancey and Dwayne Stovall in his March Republican primary.
No finance data is available at this time for Cornyn’s opponents.
