WTAMU Students Attend Pathways Symposium

Ten students from West Texas A&M University attended the 16th Annual Pathways Student Research Symposium on Nov. 7-8 in Laredo, Texas at Texas A&M International University.

Of the attendees, eight were McNair Scholars and two were part of the Attebury Honors program. Four were awarded in categories in the undergraduate competition.

Health Sciences: Sports Sciences

  • 2nd Place - Kelly McCaskill, senior sports and exercise science major, honors

  • 3rd Place - Edie White, senior sports and exercise major, honors

Humanities: History

  • 2nd Place - Semaj Mitchell, senior history major, scholar

Social/Behavioral Sciences: Psychology

  • 3rd Place - Jonathan Gonzalez, senior psychology major, scholar

Other student participants included:
