West Texas A&M University’s production of Musical of Musicals by Eric Rockwell and Joanne Bogart has advanced to the Region VI of the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival (KCACTF) in Abilene, Texas.
One of six invited productions out of a regional field of sixty-five, the musical comedy is under the direction of Royal R. Brantley, with music direction by Bradley Behrmann and choreography by Crystal Bertrand. This is the third year in a row that WT Theatre has advanced to the regional competition.
“The directing staff is incredibly proud of our students. Musical of Musicals requires the mastery of six different musical theatre styles. The cast has not only mastered those styles but also created a highly entertaining musical. The regional committee was very positive in its praise for the show,” Brantley said.
