Amarillo City Council candidate Hayden Pedigo will host a campaign rally this weekend.
On April 14th at 3PM, Pedigo will host a rally at the Blackburn and Brown Law Office in downtown Amarillo. Pedigo, who is challenging Councilwoman Elaine Hays in the May 4th municipal election, says that he decided to host the rally after speaking to attorney Jeff Blackburn about the civic engagement of young voters earlier this year.
Pedigo is a 25-year-old credit union supervisor making his first bid for political office. Along with Pedigo and Hays, former Potter County Justice of the Peace Richard Herman and business consultant Jay U. Kirkman, III are also vying for the seat.
