APD Investigating Convenience Store Robbery

Amarillo Police are investigating a robbery at a North Amarillo convenience store.

According to APD, on April 13th, officers were dispatched to a convenience store in the 1700 block of Northeast 24th Avenue on the report of an armed robbery. The victim told officers that two black males entered the store, one of whom wore a red mask. The suspect with the red mask allegedly pulled out a gun, pointing it at the victim and demanding money. The second male stood at the door and appeared to be a lookout.

The male with the gun is described as being about 5’2” and weighing 140 pounds. That suspect is described as wearing a black leather jacket and having dark skin. The second suspect is described as being about 6’0”, wearing a faded blue hooded sweatshirt and jeans. The suspects left the store westbound on foot with an undisclosed amount of money.

No injuries were reported from this incident.
