The following list of Amarillo area lane closures is for the week of April 29, 2019 and was provided by the Texas Department of Transportation.
Watch for mowers and weed eaters on Interstate 40 west of town from Soncy Road to the Oldham County line and on Interstate 27 from State Loop 335 (Hollywood Road) to Buffalo Stadium Road.
Watch for crews applying herbicide on FM 1719, FM 2176, and FM 2381.
Crews also will be cutting off high edges on sealcoat roads – FM 1719 and FM 2176.
On SL 335/US 87, the entrance and exit ramps will have lane closures for scrub seal operations.
Watch for crews performing sign and delineation work on state roadways across Potter County.
Various lanes will be closed on Pierce and Taylor Streets as traffic heads out of downtown for concrete repairs though the interchange.
On Wednesday, May 1, the left and center lanes of I-40 eastbound will be closed at Western Street for bridge deck repairs, weather permitting.
On Thursday, May 2, from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., Ross Street will be closed under I-40 for bridge work.
