It’s not in a galaxy far, far away, but “Star Wars” will be coming to downtown Amarillo this weekend.
On Saturday, May 4th, the Amarillo Sod Poodles will play a game in “Star Wars” themed jerseys, honoring the iconic movie franchise. The jerseys will be auctioned off through a third-party app during the game, with all proceeds going to benefit the Children’s Miracle Network. A free color changing sword will be offered to the first 150 children under 12 years old who appear wearing “Star Wars” clothing.
The game will begin at 7:05PM, and the Sod Poodles will be taking on the Arkansas Travelers at Hodgetown.
