Amarillo Police are investigating two drive-by shootings this week.
According to APD, on the morning of May 26th, officers were dispatched to a residence in the 300 block of North Florida Street on a report of shots fired. The victims in the residence were asleep when they heard was believed to be six or seven gunshots from outside of the house. Officers found multiple places on the residence that had been struck by bullets.
No injuries were reported in that incident, with no arrests made. The dispatch on the North Florida call took place around 5:23AM.
Also, on Tuesday, May 28th, officers were dispatched just after midnight to a residence in the 500 block of South Louisiana on the report of shots fired. A 24-year-old male at the residence had minor injuries from one bullet grazing his head. Officers located several places on the residence that had been struck by bullets.
No arrests have been reported in that incident.
