Johnny Mize, David C. Woodburn, and Paul Proffer are back for another term at Amarillo College.
On Saturday, Amarillo voters picked Mize, Woodburn, and Proffer from a five-person field to serve on the Amarillo College Board of Regents. All three men were most recently elected to the board in 2013. Challengers Terry Hawthorne and Jack Westbrook finished the contest in fourth and fifth place, respectively.
The next Amarillo College Board of Regents election will be held in 2021, with incumbents Anette Carlisle, Patrick Miller, and Dan Henke up for re-election. All individuals holding the qualifications of registered voters within the college district will be eligible to run for a seat on the board.
