Amarillo Parks Board to Discuss Proposed Memorial Park Improvements

Members of the Amarillo Parks and Recreation Advisory Board will meet next week.

According to an agenda posted to Amarillo.gov, the Board is planning its regular meeting for Tuesday. On the agenda will be updates on various projects and programs, as well as discussion and possible action on proposed improvements to Memorial Park. The improvements have been proposed by Amarillo College and would include parking lots, fencing and landscape improvements, according to the agenda.

In addition to the Board’s topics for the meeting, a public address period will be provided at the start of the meeting for citizens wishing to discuss a topic on the agenda.

The Board’s meeting will begin at 1:30pm on Tuesday, November 17. Due to social distancing requirements, the meeting will be held by video conference. Details on how to watch the meeting are available on the agenda located at this link.
