This time of year, there are more acts of charity to those less fortunate than any other time. More food and donations given to shelters, more change given at red lights, more good will than any other time of year in this country.
For me, if I were to live in a constant state of awareness of all the blessings in my life I would live in a perpetual state of humility on the verge of tears. I try to remember that gratitude, like love, is an action word.
