This Christmas, City Hall will be closed.

According to information released by the City of Amarillo, City Hall will close for the holidays on Thursday, December 24 and Friday, December 25. During this time, public library locations will be closed, as well as public transit systems on Friday. Public transit will operate on a Saturday schedule on Thursday.

During this time, Thursday solid waste routes will be serviced Wednesday, while Friday routes will be serviced on Thursday. Commercial routes will also see a change with Friday even-numbered routes serviced Thursday and Friday odd-numbered routes serviced Saturday. The landfill and brush sites will be closed on Christmas Day.
