The Amarillo Sod Poodles will be shutting down the team’s front office and merchandise store due to concerns over the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic.
According to an advisory released on Thursday, the Sod Poodles will be shutting down the store and team’s front office at Hodgetown for two weeks beginning on Friday, March 20. Merchandise will still be available online at SodPoodles.com and front office staff will be teleworking off-site, according to Sod Poodles president and general manager Tony Ensor.
“Thank you for your continued and unwavering support,” Ensor said in a statement. “We look forward to seeing you back at HODGETOWN in the near future!”
The move comes following the recent announcement by Minor League Baseball that the start of the MiLB season will be delayed due to concerns over the virus.
